FINEAMIN 88 SCAV 25 is an aqueous mixture of catalyzed DEHA 25 %, used as organic oxygen scavenger for steam generating systems together with volatile & film-forming polyamines combinations.
FINEAMIN 88 SCAV 25 is a successful boiler and pipes anti-corrosion substitute for the hydrazine hydrate, a widely spread product considered to have a carcinogenic effect on humans. FINEAMIN 88 SCAV 25 does not contain hydrazine, has a rapid reaction, does not affect copper or copper alloys and it is compatible with “all volatile” water treatment.
FINEAMIN organic oxygen scavenger is reacting with residual dissolved oxygen in the feed water and it can be mixed with other boiler chemicals in the same dosage tank. Generally, a dosage of 8.0 ppm FINEAMIN88 SCAV 25 neutralizes 1 ppm O2.
